Regulations of Common Room

  1. Zajęcia popołudniowe w świetlicy są nadobowiązkowe, jednak stanowią integralną część pracy szkoły i są spójne z realizowanym przez szkołę programem wychowawczym.
  2. The basic objective of the common room is to provide care for children after the mandatory educational classes, organise safe fun and various forms of interesting and healthy leisure time.
  3. The common room is open between 3:15 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
  4. At the beginning of the school year, the parents fill in a declaration and indicate the persons authorised to collect the child in the declaration. The authorised person enters the time of collection in the common room register and confirms the collection of the child by a handwritten signature.
  5. In emergency situations, the pupil can be collected by a person the data of whom was not specified by the parent in the declaration if the parent/legal guardian submits a written authorisation to the administrative office, in which authorisation the data of that person are specified, or sends the data from its e-mail address to the school e-mail address.
  6. The child cannot be collected by a person not specified in the declaration at any telephone request of the parent.
  7. The parents/legal guardians are obliged to collect the child from the common room not later than 5:55 p.m. The homeroom teacher notifies the principal if the child is repeatedly collected after 6:00 p.m.
  8. The common room teachers guide and bring over the pupils from extra-curricular activities organised by the school. From the moment of providing the pupils to school to the moment of their collection, the children are under the care and responsibility of the instructors who conduct the extra-curricular activities.
  9. The instructors who conduct extra-curricular activities are not authorised to hand over the children to their legal guardians. The parents and legal guardians cannot collect their children during the activities or directly after them from the instructor conducting the activities. The child is taken back to the common room and from there it can be collected by their parent/legal guardian after a relevant entry is made in the register.
  10. The pupils are obliged to act in compliance with the instructions of the common room teachers and respect the determined rules of conduct.
  11. Every pupil is obliged to:
    • behave and play in a civil manner, avoid screaming and speaking very loud,
    • perform the instructions of the homeroom teacher,
    • take care of their own safety and the safety of their schoolmates,
    • always inform the teacher when they would like to leave the classroom,
    • tidy up games and toys and put them back in their place after playing.
  12. The common room teacher is obliged to inform the homeroom teacher on the behaviour of pupils and can inform the parents (child’s legal guardians) on any problems regarding the child.
  13. If a pupil has an accident, the homeroom teacher is obliged to take the following actions immediately:
    • provide first aid,
    • call emergency medical services, if needed,
    • inform the parents (legal guardians) on the accident and the health condition of the pupil,
    • inform the Principal and the homeroom teacher on the accident.
  14. If the child is not collected from the common room by 7:00 p.m. and the homeroom teacher cannot contact the parents (legal guardians) of the child, the school will inform the police on the situation and asks for intervention.
