I graduated in clinical psychology from the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. My professional experience includes working in a psychological and pedagogical counselling centre, in kindergartens (as a psychologist), at universities (where I conducted classes for medicine and pedagogy students). In addition, for 11 years I was a member of the Dyslectic Society, where I learned a lot about diagnosis and working with students with learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dysgraphy, dysortography and dyscalculia. During many years of professional work and specialist training, I have gained knowledge about working with children with impaired sensory integration, hyperactivity disorder and attention deficit disorder. I believe that continuous communication with the parents of children is very important in the work of a psychologist. In my opinion, support given to a family during difficult times of growing up and adolescence is one of the most important tasks in this job. Outside of work, I take care of my granddaughter Helcia, and in my free time I love gardening and being outdoors, as well as reading non-fiction.
